Every child deserves access to high-quality arts learning.

CLARA Classroom eliminates the barriers that schools face around equitable access to arts education. The virtual platform ensures that all students can receive standards-aligned arts lessons in dance, music, and theatre anytime, anywhere.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • QUALITY INSTRUCTION

CLARA Classroom brings a virtual teaching artist directly to students in grades TK-12. All course curriculum is developed by a team of professional artists and experienced educators to provide standards-aligned, sequential arts learning in dance, music, and theatre.

  • ENGAGING LESSIONS

Each course includes opportunities for students to interact with their peers, teachers, and CLARA artists in safe and secure forums where they can ask questions, demonstrate new skills, challenge their imaginations, and discover their creative potential.

  • CULTURALLY RESPONSIVE

Students will have the opportunity to celebrate and learn about diverse cultures through art forms native to their history. Teaching artists share their personal cultural connections to each art form and deliver authentic skills and context for each activity.

  • SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL LEARNING

All courses include tools and resources for students to build a sense of community and togetherness by learning with their peers and sharing their progress with each other.

  • VERSATILITY

CLARA Classroom can be facilitated by teachers, classified staff, or executed independently by students in a variety of learning environments; in school, after school, and remotely. No prior arts experience is required.

  • EQUITABLE ACCESS

Close the equity gap and access high-quality arts instruction for every student in your district for only $22 per student annually.

  • TEACHER SUPPORT

CLARA staff are available Monday through Friday to support teachers with implementation strategies, curriculum integration tools, and technical inquiries.
